Welcome to the Dreigiau Mayals page
What do Dreigau do?
The Dreigiau are responsible for encouraging and helping the pupils at Mayals Primary School to speak and learn Welsh in a fun and engaging way. They are a pupil voice group, similar to the school council, and help make decisions and take actions to help us reach our Welsh language targets. Some of our most recent achievements include being awarded the Siarter Iaith Bronze Award, which aims to encourage the whole school community to speak Welsh and enjoy our Welshness!
Our targets for this year are:
1. Continue to raise the profile of Welsh across the whole school
2. Organise community days to showcase our Welsh language
