20.10.22 - Pupil Voice off to a flying start!

A big da iawn to our Dreigiau Mayals for organising and holding our first Caffi Mayals today.  They did a fantastic job organising and arranging today.  It would be great to see Caffi Mayals return to school again and bring our wider community together.  Our aim is that every pupil voice group gets to host Caffi Mayals and showcase their aims and achievements with you all.

04.10.22 - First meet of the year

All the new pupil voice representatives met for the first time in their groups today.  They decided on a group name, to showcase their values and aims as well as electing in their chair and vice chairs who will become our School Council.

The groups then started looking at their ideas for the year ahead and making lots of plans to put into action - watch this space everyone!

26.09.22 - Election results announced!

It has been an exciting day in Mayals today.  Our class pupil representatives for our 8 pupil voice groups were announced today in a special assembly.  We gave all the members a round of applause for being successful and we look forward to seeing what great work they achieve this year.

Our next pupil voice meeting is on Tuesday 4th October.  This will be the groups first meeting when they get to decide their group names, vote for chair/ vice-chair and set their action plan for the year.

Gwaith da pawb!

12.09.22 Our pupil voice groups are changing!

Our groups are changing as part of the curriculum changes in Wales and to make sure that all children at Mayals Primary get their voice heard on such an important topic.

Will you be part of our team? Can you help others be heard and to make a difference in school?

If so - we need you!!

Group elections take place on Tuesday 20th September - don't miss out!

Please complete an election form and write a short election speech, to be delivered in front of your class on this day.  If you have any questions, please ask your class teacher.
