Dear Parent / Guardian / Visitor,

On behalf of the pupils, staff and governors, I am thrilled to welcome you to the Mayals Primary School website.

Choosing the right school for our children is a vitally important decision, which may be influenced by many different factors. These might include class sizes, school facilities, quality of teaching and learning, or even the secondary school that the children will go on to. The aim of this website is to firstly, act as a hub for information and guidance, but also to confirm that you have made the right choice in choosing Mayals Primary.

Our school is situated in West Cross, Swansea.  From our yard we have a fantastic view of Mumbles and the beautiful Swansea Bay.  We are fortunate to be blessed with beautiful grounds that include a sports field, nature area, playground, adventure playground, and outside learning areas that can be accessed from every class.  Utilising, learning about, and respecting our locality underpins everything that we do in the school.

At Mayals we understand that each child is unique; having their own blend of interests, gifts and talents.  We have high aspirations for every child and an expectation that they will excel to achieve their full potential.  Our school motto is ‘Be the best that you can be’.  To help them to do so, we provide a happy, friendly and caring atmosphere as well as an inspirational and creative curriculum, rich in opportunity and full of challenge.
