Welcome to the Numeracy Nerds page
What do Numeracy Nerds do?
The Numeracy Nerds are responsible for encouraging and helping the pupils at Mayals Primary School to learn and develop their numeracy skills in a fun and engaging way. They work with our Numeracy AOLE teacher team to drive numeracy initiatives across the school including Sumdog and Times Tables Rockstars.
Our targets for this year are:
1. Improve the effective use of Sumdog & TTRS in Progression Step 2 & 3
2. Run whole school competitions to raise the profile of numeracy
3. Work with the Numeracy AOLE teacher team to develop maths reasoning tasks across the school
